Guy Sanders aged 22, was a very talented university student, who tragically died in a motorcycle race crash at Mondello Park, Ireland, on June 17th 2007, just hours after exam chiefs awarded him an honours degree from Newcastle University.
Guy had an infectious sense of humour and with his father Derek, had become an accomplished team in the the British Supersport Championship with Gearlink Racing and he had just been informed that he was to ride Michael Rutter’s works Kawasaki at Knockhill, fulfilling his aim to ride a Superbike.
Guy will forever be sadly missed by everyone, especially his dad Derek, his mum Carole, his brother Adam, his friends, many BSB race fans and all of his fellow motorcycle racers.
Farewell Mate
Guy was a great friend and a briliant racer, the paddock is not the same without you.
you'll never be forgotten.

so sorry for your loss
It breaks my heart to know that another family are going through the same heartache that ours went through last year. There are no words that anyone can say to make this any better for any of you. Thinking of you all jen
